Well...Cold Steel IV finally shipped! I was very annoyed to see that right when they were shipping...nearly a week after release...the price went down five dollars, which was not applied to my order.

However! This morning I got an email that they had refunded me nearly six dollars on the price to match the lowest price. I didn't think they would, given the timeline. But maybe they only said it was in stock up until now...maybe yesterday was the first time they really DID have it in stock to begin mailing out, which is why the price got finalized then, too? Dunno, but at least I'm getting the game 1 day earlier than they predicted, and 5-6$ cheaper. It'd have been a full $10 more if I had cancelled my order and gone digital, as I wanted to with how they had the game listed as in-stock for nearly a full week but
wouldn't ship it to me.
Secret is...I'm not even in the mood to play Cold Steel. *cry* I'm sure I'll find it really interesting once I start playing it, but my anticipation for the series dried up with III, it seems. I liked it, but didn't love it, unlike the first two, and I guess that just changed the whole experience for me. I don't know.
I'm in an awkward place with gaming right now, having finished the Pikmin demo and the Age of Calamity demo, but unable to continue on to the full game in either even though I WANT to. And CSIV coming up in two days, but not really in the mood to play it. And my backlog is complete...no games left to work on. Awkward, awkward, awkward.
With all the Olive Town talk, I'd love to begin replaying any or all of ANB, SoS, or Trio, but I don't have time to fit those replays in before I'd be picking up Cafe Enchante and CSIV...I'd just have to put it down again, and for weeks, losing my place, so, I can't do that either. I am stuck in an
AWKWARD GAMING PLACE, I tell you!
