The tent is a 3-room one. The total floor space is about...12 by 20 feet, I think. Plus we have to bring in all the chairs and mattresses and blankets and sleeping bags and lanterns and lights and stuff she had stowed in it, first. With the two of us, we got it done in two hours, though the main body is still hanging outside to let part of it dry, so it still has to be folded up and stored once it is fully dry. And everything was put inside, but not yet put all the way away. So I guess, really, it takes the two of us three hours to do it all.Mikodesu wrote:@Kikki: I have to ask real quick...how big of a tent? That sounds HORRIBLE, a tent big enough to sink an entire afternoon into putting away. I guess at least it's exercise. Not the exercise you wanted, but the exercise you got...
I wish it were good exercise, and it IS better than sitting around, but it doesn't make my muscles sore, nor does it get me out of breath...I just get a crick in my neck, lol. Well, but yeah...better than sitting around.
EDIT: I always figured I'd buy Final Fantasy XII if it went on a really good sale (which for me means it has to be at least 50% off.) Well, it was, so I did, as I don't have any other lengthy story-driven games on hand, now. And...I don't like it? I mean...it's kinda grimy and weird-looking. The characters are strangely fat in the cheek area around their mouths. Somehow just really strange-looking. So I don't like the looks. And I may just not be able to tolerate teenagers as my central protagonists any more. The younger they are, the less I can feel for them/their goals, it seems. I think this kid is 17? Could be worse, but he's kind of ordinary, so far. Understandably but also stupidly rebellious boy, in my view to this point.
I do see why this is one of very few games directly compared to Xenoblade Chronicles X, though, in terms of some of the gameplay systems. The exploration isn't a patch on XCX, though, and so far the characters and story are not interesting to me. Eh, I'm fine with that; I didn't have any particular expectations so if something grabs my attention, great! But if nothing does...*shrug*.
