hi so you have to upgrade the chruch before you get married so how do i do that i have nathan at 4 hearts when will he upgrade my chruch helppppp:?:

You don't have to upgrade the church to get married in Sunshine Islands. You just need to raise Mystic Islands from the ocean floor so that the church (and Nathan) can move in.

The candidate must be at a red heart
You must have seen all their heart events
You must receive the sun stone that they have
You must upgrade your house twice and buy the spouse bed
You must raise the Mystic Islands

You do not need to upgrade the church in any way. If you have met all the requirements, you should be good to propose. Good luck!
