Impossible part-time jobs

So one of the part-time jobs you can do is to ship a certain number of eggs (or milk, wool, etc) in 30 days. I signed up for one involving shipping 54 eggs in 30 days. As far as I can tell it is impossible to complete because the most eggs you can get in one day (playing as a boy)= 8. After >6 days in storage things go bad, and you can't bypass this by removing/re-adding things. So the most eggs I can have at any one time = 48 (unless I want to carry a bag full of eggs for >1 week, which seems impractical). You also can't call and partially complete a task; you have to ship the entire amount of requested items at once. Is there any way to complete this task or should I just cancel the job?

Also, what does canceling a job due to your reputation?

I am not sure about the results of cancelling, but those high number jobs are not technically impossible, just difficult to fulfill legitimately in the first year.

Legitimately, in the second year I believe, after the earthquake, you can get a special piece of ice which the furniture guy with glasses (on the mainland) can use to convert your storage shed to be refrigerated. Nothing rots after that.

If you don't mind exploiting glitches, you can use the well-known duplication glitch to get enough eggs (or whatever item you need to duplicate for a job) to fill your order.
