my birthday is on the 14 of this month, so i might buy myself a ds game as a myself gift XD
is this game good or island of happiness better?
any customization and is it good? (I love games with customizible anything)
when my 2ds xl was working i really liked A New Begining the story of seasons games but i assume since the games are ds games they probs dont have as much in them customization wize? (i liked how in ANB you could place homes and shops almost any spot in the town) i have ds cute but its limeted to color palete swaps for outfits witch i guess was advanced for the time it come out, but i definitly want a more a new begining style customize level Lol
i was gonna get rune factory 3 because i loved 4 but rn its so hard to find and usually over $120 o.o"
so any1 recemend this? if not: other ds games that are good??

I haven't played island of happiness, but I thought sunshine islands was all right. I personally liked it better than HMDS, though I have yet to finish either, lol. I don't remember there being much in the way of customization though.

Have you tried HM: Tale of Two Towns? It's on DS and 3ds. It has some different outfits you can get for your character and it has a decent gameplay loop, though it can get a little grindy.

It’s been a long time since I played (or owned) Sunshine Islands and Island of Happiness. From what I remember, they were both enjoyable games. I don’t think I ever finished either of them (I married and had a child in each game but never finished either of the storylines). I’m not 100% sure—so don’t quote me on this—but I think one of the games had touchscreen movement only, while in the other game you could move by using touchscreen or the cross pad? Anyways, I would recommend both games and all of the Harvest Moon DS games.
