so tomorrow is my b. day and im wanting to get ether this game or sunshine islands but idk wich to get as a gift for myself.
what do you all recomend?
im all about customization in litarly every game i own so ToTT does have that, but i perfer the bacholars/bacholarettes in sunshine islands, and marrige is pretty much my only goal for harvest moon or rune factory games. as long as there is a cool hubby for to woo, the crops and animals are just iceing in the cake XD
but anyway, game machanics, whats eayer to get into, what has the best play style or even story? note that i pefer button controls over stylus use. and like not having to spend my whole time lets say, finding an item that so rare and if you can find it, you cant really progess or like unlock somthing vital for the game (imporatant shop maybe) when i could be spending time to work on marrige lol. i know its not really a full harvest moon experiance without getting your crops going or earning friendship with your animal friends, but im weird like that XD
soo. acording to all that, what game would you recomend??
this vs Sunshine islands? wich is better?

Can't really speak for Sunshine Islands, as I haven't tried it. When it was for sale, I couldn't afford it.
For some parts of ToTT, you do need some fairly rare gems, at better qualities than the 2 stars you get for winning some festivals. However, it's mostly for upgrading tools, and it's not difficult to manage the farming without them. There is a thread in the forums on how to handle the ore stones. Only shop that needs to be unlocked is the alchemy shop, and the potions and fertilizers gained from there are really optional extra. The game's mostly button controlled. I had to get a new DS because the used one I'd bought earlier had lost the use of the shoulder buttons, so I couldn't switch to running mode, or hitch the cart to the horse. The touch screen is used for stuff like choosing items in the bag or cart, changing outfit or zooming in on the map in towns. Some stuff can be done by either buttons or touch screen, and I sometimes use the screen to save the buttons from overuse.
ToTT has two times when ending credits roll. When the tunnel/shortcut between the two towns is finished, and after the wedding.
