There wasn’t a Fire Emblem engage thread from what I can see so hopefully this is okay.

Basically, I’ve been locked on chapter 11 before and I have spent RL days on it. I wasn’t prepared at all and kept losing. Luckily, I was able to reload my file and I may need to play chapter 10 again but this time I want to be ready. If anyone have advice or anything I’d appreciate.

Also is bond rings worth it and who’s?

OK, so, assuming you're playing on casual, feel free to use some of your units as sacrifice material. You only need to get Alear to the escape point, so no one else really matters. Don't rush, but also carefully keep Alear out of enemy range (you can toggle their rage with one of the shoulder buttons iirc). Once Ivy, Kagetsu, Zelkov join you, use them to pick off any other enemies in Alear's way. Use Lyn's cloning ability for extra support. Also, it's hard to tell you who to give what bond ring to as I don't know your party nor so I know which bond rings you have. I'd say sift through what you have and see who benefits the most from what. You may also want to look into Second Seals (your shopkeeper should have some by chapter 9) to reclass Alear into something more sturdy or with more movement. I had her as a Sword Flier so I could gain more distance and move freely as needed. You can use Second Seals providing you have the proficiencies and levels to do so. Proficiency is learned from fighting Emblems in the Arena via bond fragments that you've been getting after battles or by taking care of Sommie. If you're lacking in level, do some skirmishes on the map to get some extra exp.

And just an aside here, if you want to really make this chapter stupidly easy, the DLC Emblems remain if you've bothered to unlock them (and they're all pretty simple fights, just a bit long in some cases). I'm not telling you to go out and pay to win, but it is an option I thought I'd make mention. I played and finished the game on release, only having Tiki and the Three Houses Emblems and they trivialized the map.

I'll do what I can here. Vander starts to fall off around this time in the game. He's a pre-promote, so his growths are generally bad even if you use a second seal to reset his class. Use his range to either finish off enemies or let him be sacrifice material. If you have any distance healing staves, give them to Framme and keep Alear topped up to prevent instant game over. Clanne should be used to finish off any enemy in range. I reccomend leveling up some of his tomes at the armory to their next stage (Fire to Elfire, for example) for some extra damage. The same can be said for Celine. Yunaka and Diamant should probably be your main killers here so give them weapons that increase their crit rate. Chloe, Anna, and Alfred can be rather fragile unless you've had amazing growths so far. They all function better as Wolf Knights than their respective classes (range, better movement and avoid) so maybe look into having better classes to balance out their glass canon-ness.

As for the Bond rings, if you have bond fragments to spare, Celica's rings have a good array of boosts. If you have some silver and gold ones, don't hesitate to give them to who needs them. Also, you may want to look into getting some good skills for your characters to inherit. Any that raise proficiency in their weapon of choice are good for an extra boost. You can preview what emblem gives what in the Arena and once you learn the skill for good, you keep it even if you don't have the emblem ring equipped (you can equip skills from the inventory screen and inherit skills in the ring chamber or arena).

I think that should do it. Hopefully you can get past this chapter.
