So, there's going to be a new Pokémon Presents that will air on August 7th or August 8th, 2023 (exact time/hour will differ because of time zones). What's everyone looking forward to? Since it's before the Pokémon Presents, we can only speculate. After it airs/premieres we can discuss what we'd seen if you'd like.

Personally, I'd like a release date for both of the Pokémon Scarlet Violet DLC(s) (<- The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero). As the exact dates have been left unknown besides 'Fall 2023' (Teal Mask) and 'Winter 2023 (The Indigo Disk)'. I'd also like more information/gameplay on Detective Pikachu Returns (releasing October 6, 2023). I've already pre-ordered it physically, as I'm super-excited for it.) (loved the first game on 3DS and the movie). As for even bigger hopes, maybe a new mainline Pokémon game? There's speculation about Johto/Unova remakes/ Legends games and stuff like that. But, I don't trust rumors/leaks really. Because it's not officially confirmed.

Realistically, what I think we'd see is stuff about Pokémon Sleep (since it recently released), Pokémon Go, and Pokémon Unite. Probably Pokémon Cafe Remix as well. Pokémon Master EX is still operational as well.

Everything else is up in the air, I guess. The Pokémon Presents will be about 35 minutes long.

Pokémon Presents

A Pokémon Presents has been announced. This Pokémon Presents will air on August 8th at 13:00 UTC / 14:00 BST / 15:00 CEST / 09:00 EDT / 06:00 PDT / 22:00 JST. It's currently unclear what it will feature but it will last 35 minutes.
Also, the official Pokemon Youtube Channel uploaded this short. I don't know what it hints at.

NGL, I've been absurdly excited about Pokemon Sleep, though in practice it isn't working super-well for me (I "needed" to buy the Pokemon Go + because I can't run it at the same time as my other sleep app, and the Go thing will stop my bed from catching on fire from my phone overheating while running the app). I'm curious to hear what they want to say about it.

My high hopes are for a new Mystery Dungeon game. My realistic expectations are for app news, and maybe the DLC for S/V if we're lucky. Curious about Detective Pikachu, though I took a pass on the first one and the movie, and am probably not going to jump in now.

A new Mystery Dungeon, whether it be a remake of Sky or a completely new entry, is really all I want.

The letter "M" glitching out is surely interesting. They're definitely hinting something big so it simply just can't be a special Mewtwo raid for SV or any of their mobile games. New Mystery Dungeon? 2nd DLC for SV? I don't know why but I feel as if there won't be anymore DLC for SV. DLC1 Part 1 and Part 2 both have two different settings and plot lines and that's the standard amount for a Pokemon game DLC wise from what we've seen so far. Pokemon tries their best to break traditions so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't announce DLC2 and go straight for the next Legends game or something similar. Gen 9 announcement was such a surprise to me back then, I'd love to feel something similar.

Very curious what's in store for this one. It seems that typically I like what everyone else doesn't, and Nintendo never listens to what I telepathically tell them :) , so I doubt I'll see anything I would be hoping for.

A NSO ad ended up leaking the mystery “M” apparently. I’ll put the tweet discussing it in the spoilers.

I guess it might be a more laidback presents after all. If it is just a Mewtwo raid, I wonder if that was of that significance to tease it like that. I think there won’t be any new games. TCG will be announced for NSO and content updates for the existing games will be talked about.

Here's the English (American) version. I'm so excited. It premieres in about 30 minutes. I put the video behind a spoiler, just in case the future thumbnail spoils anything.

Well, that was a very predictable presents. Not mad at it though, I really love all the new Pokemon forms and the SV DLC actually looks interesting, more than SWSH ones for sure. I like that each DLC part is adding more features rather than just a new setting and a story. Excited to try out the decorating the League Club feature. I do wish they teased their next game atleast but I guess they really wouldn't want to hurt the DLC's sales just yet. So if there is another remake/Legends sequel, I'm assuming we're going to have to wait till the next Pokemon Presents in Feb 2024.

No big surprises to me, just mostly update stuff. I am interested in the new animations that are separate from the main anime, they look interesting. I was glad to see a few more new and returning Pokemon, but haven't seen my darling Absol yet. :( That giraffe neck though, I think that's more disturbing than Walking Wake. The Mew code event is nice.

I'm most interested for the Scarlet/Violet DLC. I already got the free Mew. Might do the Mewtwo Tera Raid. I'm also excited for Detective Pikachu Returns and Pokemon TradingCard Game (NSO; never played it) and Pokemon Stadium 2 (played it as a child; rented it, but never owned it).

I agree that the next Pokemon Presents might reveal a new game. :)
