Connecting to FOMT/MFOMT glitches

Hello all. I’ve had my copy of HMDS pretty much since it came out, and as we all know, it’s a super glitchy game. I want to connect FOMT, but I’m super nervous about what will happen. I’m really far in my current save file and am afraid of my file getting corrupted and/or glitches happening.

Does anyone know of any glitches that happen when you connect FOMT or MFOMT to HMDS? Would be very grateful for responses. Thank you!

Have you read through the thread about Typos & Glitches? From the opening post there, which has gathered of the glitches reported in the early years of the thread, there doesn't seem to be any glitches directly linked to connecting the games.

Admittedly, I've got a European game, so I wouldn't be able to connect the games even if I had a FOMT or MFOMT game, so I have no personal experience. Would've loved to get the extra material that brings.
