I don't think Gamestats even knows what a developer is ~_~ Natsume does not develope Harvest Moon... and Marvelous interactive developed and produced the japanese version.

Cher: ^_^ That makes me feel a little better that I'm not the only one still waiting who's importing... Last time I order anything from Lik-sang though. I'll try Playasia or ToysNJoys because this is ridiculous.

Thats possible about the sprites Cher.
The Harvest Witch said I had to collect 101 something but I had a bit of trouble translating it.

What sipping plan did you get on your game Cher?
3-4 days, 7-30, etc?

Air mail :) I didn't feel like paying extra for 4-5 day shipping. I've done it before in the past and it didn't take this long to reach me. I hope my mail curier did not screw up and misdeliver it. He tried to do that w/ my SoH game as was knocking on the empty place across from my door. I had to convince him that it was for me, and there was a difference between the letter D (no longer empty) and E (my place).

I want to plug in my FoMT games :) I'm still trying to marry Gourmet in the Girl version. He's not very cooperative :(

I didnt know about the IME pad either :o I usually just go to Jim Breen's page and look up the kanji by using his radical-only page.

I just sent a big long complaint mail to Lik-sang and said they either need to tell me why it's taking so long for them to send my order, or they need to cancel it so I can get it from people that actually care about sending me what I purchased... -sighs- I specifically got 3-4 day shipping so I'd have it by now. -sniffles- the harvest moon gods are toying with me... testing my will ~_~ need more... -collapses-

Mellodramatic moment <_< ignore me.

Eponick: How many hours would you say you've put into the game already? Also do you think it's worth the wait and trouble it's causing me to get? -sighs-

Cher: Mind giving me a link? ^_^ Any methods to help look up kanji while I play would be greatly appreciated.

Also I tried the writing method on IME but it seems more concerned with the number of strokes then the actual shape so I just used the radical search in it instead.

I havnt really counted my hours and it doesnt log them...
Id say about 10 hours since I got it Friday.

I had alot of trouble with IME Pad at first too.
Now I usually get it in the first or second try.
Its a real time saver now :)

No, its not :P
IME allows you to type Japanese charachters without a Japanese keyboard.

Like this:
ひらがな
カタカナ
漢字

Basically we are discussing how to use the IME to figure out what kanji are that we don't know. There are several ways to do it, but just knowing what sounds a kanji make won't make you able to understand them. Fraid there is no shortcut to actually studying japanese.

Is IME an add on to some word processor like MS works? (EDIT or is it stand alone?)

and I found a place that lists a whack of japanese symbols and how to pronounce them.

(ah :!: intro: Hi I'm Guido (Guido64380 on many other sites) I like HM, zoids and pizza cats... waiting for the price of DS to drop...alot)

HM: SS sounds so cool and interesting. I hope you can marry the FoMT girls though. Ann looks way better in this one! But what festival have you seen the girls at? Do they really have a special purpose or are they just spectators??????? And Eponick, you have been really patient with everyone asking you all these questions. Thank you! :)

IME is a stand alone program made by Microsoft that hangs out beside your task bar. You can also use it for other languages (Chinese, Japanese, Russian, etc.)

The girls mainly spectate.
They actually hold the event every now and then.

How to install Japanese IME on Windows: http://www.nihongo-ok.com/

Scroll down to the mid-bottom of the page until you can read "Gon Method" in English", then select your OS.

Yep, that's the one :)

AARRGG WHERE IS MY GAME! I will send Boo after the mailman if he doesn't hurry up. It's probably stuck in customs somewhere in L.A. :P At least I know it was shipped mid-month (sorry Myah...)

Cher: ~_~ that's okay. Not your fault Lik-Sang is evil. Btw.... KAWAII!!! Boo is so cute! I was looking through some pictures. I wish my cat had stayed looking so cute. As a kitten she was adorable but now she's gotten really pudgy <_<. So far no reply to my angry mail... tomorrow really is it if they haven't sent it by then the orders canceled. I'll go to some place that actually cares about my business -_-
