So, at the end of my 2nd year, I got the Ranch Master ending with end credits and the walking cow scene. Does this override getting the fishing rod? I got the land upgrade in the first year. I've noticed some discrepancies between GameFAQs, Ushi no Tane, and Japanese guides, but none of them say anything about NOT getting the fishing rod if you get Ranch Master. I met all the requirements to get it no matter which guide I'm looking at.
