I've been enjoying the Harvest Moon/Rune Factory franchise for many years. And (in my opinion) here are definitely the best guides for many of the games.
As I saw (as far as I could see) that no one has proposed it before...
I propose to create a repository on Github for the guides (one repository for each game or one for everything) I think it would be a good way to improve the guides and help expand them with collaborative help.
The forums and Discord can continue to work for specific questions and to discuss and corroborate information before placing it in the guides.
Github has features such as automatic generation of web pages. As the guides are only text, tables. images and hyperlinks (They do not require a web server to work). You can continue to use the domain and url format until now. Some examples of this would be DS-Homebrew/wiki hacks-guide/Guide_3DS libretro/docs
I don't have that much knowledge, but I have implemented it myself in my personal projects and I'm sure in this community there will be people capable of helping to make this implementation and migration easier.
The guides are written by a single person, with feedback from other players. While the prospect would be interesting for a retirement perspective, I'm not quite at that point yet.
I understand, and it's good that at least now you have it in mind for the future.
But anyway, could I do it myself? Even if it's as a personal project. I know that since the guides are public on the internet it would be easy to just copy the content, but I don't want to "steal" or "replace" all the work put into this. I want to do it more as a way to learn more about how to make web pages in that environment.
