I have never had a problem with read/unread topics not working. I know I'm not the only one who doesn't have issues.

I modified the cookie a little bit to see if that will help.

I think the problem is even though I click all the unread topic and make them read, on the main page that shows all the board, It stil shows that there are posts that are unread, although there isn't. But it can be solved by using the link that marks all post read. But that shouldn't be used that way, it's suppose to be for when there are post not read, and then you don't want to read them, and use the mard all post read.
This sort of error haven't appear in a long time, I think it was like this a while in the beginning, but it went away. Then all of a suddent, a few weeks ago, it came back.

Cher, it's still do it. Should we all clear our cookies and see it helps?

It's been happening to me as well and it never used to. I'll go through and read all the topics in a forum, but it still shows there are unread topics on the main page. The read/unread works inside the forum, but on the main page it doesn't.

all I've been doing is inside the actuall forum...i.e: back fence, click: mark all topics read, that seems to work fine.

ive never seen it happen yet but thats just me

I change my advice ...what Harvest_moon_gurlsaid is more correct(it works better by clicking mark all topics read) sry for giving not the best advice

Has changing the cookie fixed the issue? Before I didnt have the problem but since the change the front-page shows unread but inside shows all read. I didnt have any problems since I modified the cookie.

If it doesn't fix it then I'm going to change it back

YAY!! Everything seems to be fine now. I don't know if you changed anything, but it seems to be back to normal.
