We need a new rules topic for the newbies! (and some people who have trouble remembering 
) I am going to need a LOT of help with this, I am no Cyber. I'll put down what I can remember, but please help me. I also want there to be a mentor topic, maybe we could combine it with this one.
~basic rules~
no spamming
double posting
talking about polictics or religion
revealing personal info, like age or name
abusing smilies
(lol)
flaming
~into detail~
Spamming (v.) 1. making a useless topic or post, 2. accusing someone of breaking the rules if you are not a moderator or Cher goddess
Double Posting- posting right after your own post, even in your own topic. Use the edit button. (It is in the right hand corner) I realize fishies can't edit, so I addvise them to proofread and preview.
Talking about religion and politics-I admit to making this mistake a lot. NO TALKING ABOUT YOUR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS OR LACK THERE OF. thank you. It only causes fights and flaming. (see below) Also, no talking about politics for the same reason.
revealing your personal info- [acting like your mother]Personal information online= bad. You cannot trust anyone online, you don't know who they are. Not to scare you, but if you were a crazy pervert, wouldn't you go to a game website to look for kids? As long as you stay anonomous, you are safe. [/acting like your mother] Here are a list of things you should not reveal online:
-age
-last name
-where you live (I think it is ok to say country/state)
-your picture (discription ok)
abusing da smilies - People will get really mad if you use a lot of emoticons in every post. Every now then and where appropiate is good, that's what they are here for.
