The back fence has passed on, eventually that will lead to offtopicness since theres no forum for off-topicness (unless some people matured) in these past couple months much more « n3w farm3rs » have been coming in, and old, experienced, wise members leaving...Arguments are kinda frequent, « new farmer » topics are at a almost all time high (in non back fence ness), and the chat has dissapeared. causing more topics then needed. ("Dude, wheres my chat?")

I am posting this and a question. Why? why are there more....say....ignorant members then great wise ones? What made unot change so drastically?:?

Cher will get mad at me for posting this, delete this topic uneccesarily, and probobly ban me. but I will continue to read this topic for replies to my previous questions.

I'm thinking the same as you Malak, but I'm sure things will come together at one point and I'm willing to wait for it.

it feels like that level in halo 1 where you meet the flood. where its creepy music, dead comrades kind of around you, and all of a sudden your in a circle type room and all the doors are busting open with hundreds of enemies coming at you. ._. [end crappy halo transmision]

This was a post I found from September last year, when everyone was talking about "telling people at school" and how "my friends won't join 'cause they think harvest moon is lame." Not exact quotes. Just 6 months ago.

I've recently become a regular here, and I don't care about numbers, seeds, sheep, gnomes, I was just looking for help (which I got) so I joined 'cause everything seemed cool here. Probably 'cause Cher seems to be a really really kind hearted webmaster from what I've seen & helped me out of a game jam via email 6 months ago. Also, well, 'cause I was pretty damn lonely having moved a really really far distance fairly recently. I missed speaking English, and having friends to play and talk video games with etc.

I know everyone says that these discussions are about « new farmers », and a lot of people say "I'm not annoyed with newbs, just « new farmers »." But from what I've seen, there hasn't been too much spamming junk, and new people seem to have some decent questions (especially on Sprite Station). So I have a lot of trouble not feeling quite uninvited when these discussions about « new farmers » don't seem to be about actual noobness, but rather disguised complaints about newcomers in general.

So, um, can't you just PM people if they're posts are unreasonable, rather than complaining about it and having public whine sessions. I really like you guys, even though I'm new and don't know much.

You wanted new people before. Here's your chance, otherwise this forum would get so stale! Who's gonna ask all the questions.
