If you're planning on getting HM:SS for the DS, then you might want to get it. Unless they change something you will need FoMT:FG to unlock the FoMT girls so they'll visit your town every week instead of just at festivals.

yeah it can get boaring but it is walways fun!

-The legend of the seven rigs instead of power berries
-more recipies
-you can sell stuff to won as well as buy stuff
-you have dreams every once in a while
-you can get a record player(can you in FoMT? i'm not sure)
-the mountain cottage cost 10000000g instead of 100000000g

and some festivals like valentines day change cuz your a girl but i think thats it.

Not instead of power berries. There are still power berries but there are also the rings.

There'll be more recipies? From what I heard the recipies stay the same just as the boys version. Or do I just not know that. I like the idea though if there'll be more. I'll love to make some hamburgers!
