Claire, Clare or Jill?

I was wondering, what is the main character's real name anyway? I saw on Igusa Matsuyama's site and a lot of Japanese fansites that she is named クレア, which can be translated as either Clare or Claire. And you guys call her Jill. I feel confused. What is her official name?

The girls name is Jill and the guys is Jack. But in AFoMT I want to have fun with my name. I'm personly thinking Luna (my nickname sorta) or Joyce. (I just think joyce is a pretty name

Claire is the Japanese name used for the girl hero, while the English name is typically Jill. Both names are correct.

In HM3GBC it was Pete and Sara in reference to the main characters.

I think the translation of the guys name of the Japanese version, comes out as Pete. But for the American version they changed it to Jack.

not very familiar with nursery rhymes....

but i do know another source for Jack and Jill..
"Jack and Jill cough medicine, they taste aweful, and they work"
lol... i curse at the TV everytime i see that commercial.

i prefer Claire. Claire sounds so nice.
