I know how to read Katakana. I've learnt sometime ago and am very familiar with it.
And I think I get it now. The main characters have two different official names.
Male main char
English:Jack
Japanese:Pete
Female main char
English:Jill
Japanese:Claire.
.....

I'd name the girl Jill. I named the boy Jack.

Claire is the blond used in BTNG and FoMTG.
I'm not sure if the girl from AWLG has an official name. I've never seen one.

Eehh... I'd probably name her Mel. Not sure why... just a spur of the moment of sorts. And surprisingly, I named my self Mel last night when I was playing with my brother. *Shocker*
Or maybe Marie, which is my middle name. I'm obesessed with names that start with 'M.' Too bad my name is Allison.
Or possibly Missy.

All this talk about offical names confuses me... You CAN still name the character whatever you want right
I want to name the girl after me cause we look almost esactly alike
