English FOMT to Japanese SS

Can you connect the English version of FOMT to the Japanese version of SS? Im scared to do it when I get it because I dont want my DS to blow up!!
Another thing, can you play the japanese SS in a AMERICAN DS?

No you cannot mix up the american with the japanese games
Yes you can play japanese (or any other region) games on any ds, since they are region free! *thank « Harvest Goddess »)

I don't think it'll work, but don't worry, your DS won't blow up.
I think FOMT is meant to be connected to AWL, though. I'm not sure, I don't know much about SS yet.

Misstress kat, if you dont know what ur talking about please dont post! Anyways I was being sarcastic with the blow-up thing. Anyways, thanks now I just have to wait until I get SS in US and then connect. Until then...

No you dont have to be FoMT for Girl.I connect FoMT Boy Japanese and DS it work. FoMT town come visit every week

It won't blow up your game... or do ANYTHING AT ALL to it...
...It just picks up data if its the right game. If not, it just continues on with it's life.

That's nice, but we're talking about the English version of FoMT to a Japanese version of Sprite Station
Like I said before in another post, the save data from FoMT is compatable with each region's language; if you had a japanese save-game of FoMT then you could use the same save in the english version. The only thing that would change is the language text on the screen. Because of this it
might be possible to use an english copy of FoMT in a Japanese copy of SS,
but nobody seems to have bothered to try it yet. People always ask if it's possible but no one has reported trying it.

No it will not
As Yoople said, if it doesn't work then nothing will happen at all. If it does work then the girls from Mineral Town will begin to visit your Japanese-language SS game.

ya unless you haven't notice (which i c you haven't) just about everone that has the game has it in japanese...actually i think everyone who has the game has to have it in japanese...
