Your record player in your house won't play music. You must buy 5 records to open the sprite channel. Buy them from the...multi-colored hat sprite in the sprite tree (he stands next to the one with the beret and glasses). If you don't have that sprite, go to the 2nd floor of the in and press "a" when you're standing at the north end of the mikan/orange crate where Van usually stands.

The stairs are just what happens when you get over 40 sprites so they can keep marching around the room ^_^

buy the touch glove from Arisa's shop or the yodel farm stuff. Equip it in the 3rd box and press "a" next to your animals. Look for the "animal FAQ" thread somewhere on the next page of this forum or so.

Please don't double/triple/quadrouple post.
The Goddess Gem isn't in SS, only FoMT. There is a Goddes Hat which has the smae effect though(Raising your stamina when used as a tool).
Sunshine1, if you know what you posted isn't true, then why post it?

In the special item guide in this forum, there is a small pearl surrounded by gold, called (goddess gem), purchase from Van for 50,000. Effect unknown. has anyone found out what it does? Could anyone update the special item guide?

I haven't really used them so I can't tell you what they do, but I have found 4 different versions so far. 2 of them (black and red pearls) are the cursed and blessed versions. Then there is the white pearl one and Van also sells a green pearl one. As far as updating the item guide, you'll have to contact Cher about that. When I did a search this is what I found:

Specail Item Effect

Small Gold Lined Pearl (Goddess Gem)
Effect - Slightly increases the Max. strength point.

Large Gold Lined Pearl (Kappa Gem)
Effect - Slightly increases the Max. fatigure point.

AND

Kyle: The 2 jewel shaped things are the Goddess Gem and the Kappa Gem.

The next time Items are Goddes ~something~ and Kappa ~something~. I purchased both items and I couldn't figure out what they did... I would assume the goddess and kappa gems are the same as they were in FoMT.

*nod nod* stand out in the sun and they'll recharge your strength (goddess) and fatigue (kappa). The one that looks like a visor (and I cant remember the 2nd look, i'm at work...) are the ones that I was discussing before; equip one and you'll either loose less strength or less fatigue when using a tool. (at least, according to what i read in the description).
