How do you break the rock next to the waterfall with the sword?

You equip the sword and then go up to the rock and observe it (A button I believe).

I did but it didnt work is there an angle you have to be at to hit it?

You don't actually hit the stone with the sword, you just look at the stone while holding the sword. It didn't seem like it was really touchy about positioning.

Though it only has 1 purpose. It is used to break the rock behind the Waterfall.

Yes you can also use the sword to kill animals in the mines.

ya but it still is pretty much pointless cuz you can kill the bad animals with the tools also so really it is only for breaking the stone... but the purpose that it does has is pretty kool.

Yeah, but killing animals with a sword just seems so much more fun than killing them with a hoe
