I finally managed to propose to the princess and when our wedding day rolled around I had a major glitch. After the wedding, the whole bottom screen turned black. There was nothing there. I couldn't even use R & Y/B/A buttons to scroll through my tools & items. Going in and out of the house didn't help. Finally after going in and out of the bathroom, my backpack returned. I was very freaked out for a couple of minutes. On a side note I do have to say the credits rolling after the wedding in black & white mirror images was kind of cool though.
Yeah, the same thing happened to me, lol, I had thought it was that way 'cause it was supposed to by the honeymoon day and my guy wasn't allowed to work.
Then I realized that if I just open my fridge, cabinet or either chest (I didn't know what you did Fawkes) recovered the backpack.
I just experienced this too. On Wi25 I woke up with a new duckling born. I gave it a name and when the top screen went back to the view inside of my house my bottom screen was completely blacked out. I used my toilet room and got it back
