Out of curiousity,
does anyone know what (or how you get) the wristwatch shown on card 490 and/or the Goddess something (looks like a flower) on card 469 is?

The wristwatch is your pedometer. Thomas gave it to you at the beginning of the game.
The Goddess' Gift looks like one of the flowers that was added into FoMTG. In that game you could receive those flowers if you beat all 10 rounds of Won's Apple Game. In SS there's no Won but the Goddess still plays her high/low game (from her New Years tv show), so perhaps it's a prize for that.
You can play her high/low game you have to unlock the goddess, then you give her gifts. The first time it takes about 20-30 gifts to get her to unlock her game, then afterwards she'll play every time you give her 10 gifts.

The farthest I've gotten is 4 rounds.

I don't believe the gifts are counted as littering. Nobody's points ever changed when I tossed her gifts, just her Aijyou points would naturally go up (but the points-ring does not work on her for some reason. All I can ever see is her heart color.)
