Mysterious wine...

Sometime at the end of each season I get a letter with a bottle of wine attached to it. Since I have the japanese version of the game, I don't have any idea from whom it is. Can anybody explain it

I didn't have anything like this in the boy version of the game...

The letter you received was a contratulations letter. You won a lottery and the prize was a bottle called "Van's Favorite Thing".

although HCer is right.. i would think it would be from Cliff..i mean her works at the winery..has axces to the wine..do you see where this is going?

Well you do get it from the lottory. Give it to Van and he'll put up new items for sale! They cost a whopping 1,000,000G though. You can buy a quiz book hold it above you head and stand in front of one of a bookshelf in Mary's library and it'll give you multiple choice questions like, "What day of the week will Spring 16th year 160 be?", or something like that. After each time you use the quiz book, the questions will be scrambled along with the answers. So if the first time you said A. and was right on that question, doesn't mean the next time you see that question that the answer will be A.
