What to put in the can maker?

I have a can maker. But I don't know what to put into the can maker. I tried something I grew. But nothing came out. Anyone know about it?

Nothing comes out, it is canned and shipped when you put stuff in the cannery.

I get a kick out of canned weeds and canned rocks...

From what I have seen, shipping stuff through the cannery does seem to make more money than just putting it in the shipping bin. I still ship at least one of each item through the shipping bin just to complete my ship items list, but for the most part I try to can everything else.

ya i like canning the things like rocks and weeds...my favorite machine is the seed maker...you can put flowers in it and get flower seeds and grow them you can even put mushrooms in it and get mushrooms seeds for your mushroom house.
i like all the makers...i have them all but i think it's a rip-off to have to pay like 20000 dollars for just one maker.

From what I heard, it's pretty similar.

When you start leveling crops, animals, and tools, you start making money hand over fist.

Money is a LOT easier to make in this game than in FoMT. Granted you have a lot more expenses in this game, especially if you want to build multiple barns and buy the materials, but money is very easy to make. Leveled up crops add up very quickly. Also if you find all of the dragon balls in the 4th mine you can have a falling star event whenever you want (every day even).
