It's most likely going to be 2006 before it's released in the US. Honestly, I'll be amazed if we see it before May 2006.

Release dates are never solid.
The game usually comes out a few months after the projected release.

It's Natsume.

They are horribly slow at translating and do it with bad quality.

natsume isn't that bad...at least they translate it...but when they do your right it does kinda suck cause they dont realy pay attention and then they screw up on alot of things but it doesn't really matter to me because i am having no problems with my japanese version...I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Alan: So close yet so far off. Rising star is doing the european release. The stateside release will still be handled by Natsume unless they have chosen (stupidly as this is an excellent addition to the HM franchise) not to release it stateside at all.

Kafei: I'm afraid you're very wrong. Natsume isn't bad at translating at all... in fact they are quite good. The problem is they have bad editors, and definitely not enough time spent on game testing. The more remote a section of th game the more likely it is to have grammar errors... I'd almost go out on a limb and say editors never see the script before it's inserted into the game. Instead they are given a copy of the game to play and they note and fix grammar errors as they play (which is horrible as you will ALWAYS miss something)

Bad translations you'd see many elements of the translation that don't make sense, or terms that aren't translated correctly, etc etc... in all honesty I haven't seen much of that in Natsume games. Still, lots of spelling and grammar mistakes... they really need to hire more or better editors. I don't know what they could possibly be doing during the 10 months+ it takes them to translate a game.

The big thing I'm hoping for form a Euro and US release is that the bugs get fixed, or at least the occurence of them will be reduced significantly. I love my SS, but it often feels like I'm playing a beta version instead of the final release version. Even the super high limits to the levels of crops and things makes it feel more "beta"... like they were testing how much the game could stand and how far an average person could get before setting a "reasonable" limit.
