Claire instead of Jill?

I don't know if it's old news (I didn't see it anywhere!), so if it is, please forgive me.

But if you look at the picture of the HM: FOMT for Girls character surrounded by the boys that they have at the drawing contest, its file name is "claireandboys"!

It looks like Natsume is using Claire instead of Jill!

So does this mean her official name is Claire?

Well in the japanese version they translate into Claire, yet most people think they should/could call it jill

I can see where Jill came from, what with the guy being called Jack (Jack and Jill went up the hill~)... I like Claire better. However, I like Jack more than Pete, which seems to be the boy's official name. I dunno, I never liked 'Pete'.

Claire is the girl with the blonde hair. Her English name was assumed to be Jill, but that has no confirmation because there has never been a girl game in English.

Sarah is the girl from Hm3 (short, boyish hair)

I dont know if the girl from AnWL has an "official" name, but she is the 3rd girl.

I like Claire better but it doesn't really matter what her original name is Jill or Claire you could always change it.

Jack and CLAIRE? It just doesnt sound right! Claire isnt a farming name, jill is! And, even though i like claire better, i want jill! Reminds me of my friend Jillian.....

yeah realy, they always think of jack and jill went up the hill.....that's why claire sounds wierd to other people. But, to bad people!

this time the boy's jack and the girl is claire! OKAY???
