Depending on the kind of router you have you might be able to. I can't use Wi Fi on my DS but I can go online with my Wii, so you might have to try it.Anonymous Fish wrote:I have a question also. When I play SSBB I can connect to Wi-fi since I have a router, yet when I try any Wi-Fi DS games it's like thr router isn't present in my house? :/
Am I doing something wrong?

When the DS's WiFi first same out, I ended up having to buy a WiFi connector because the games wouldn't work online unless I switched my internet connection from open to shared; which messed up the connection on my computer. But then when the Wii came out, everything suddenly worked fine on my regular connection. Even newer DS games work fine with it now; but the older ones (Metroid and Animal Crossing, to be exact), still need the WiFi connector. I'm thinking older games must have done something different that newer games don't do anymore.KrystalKairi wrote:Depending on the kind of router you have you might be able to. You don't have to connect to any website, no. As long as the USB works and you have the friend codes (Though keep in mind they aren't always used) BTW, I am pretty sure you can download the installation, I'll look for it for you.koako wrote:sorry if this has been asked before but i get so lost when it comes to people telling me how to connect since they use tech stuff i dont understand...and this is the only topic i found that prob help me
