Rick's a good guy, a little crazy over eggs and overprotective about Popouri but most older brothers are.

It's hilarious how he freaks out at Kai. If I were him, I'd worry a lot too.. not that Kai is bad or anything but he just cares for Popouri a lot.

Well, the first time I saw him I thought he was a girl... ^^;

I used to thing he was really sweet looking and sweet acting. He had a nice smile and was very nurturing to Karen. Then when I hired my harvest sprites (my brother and sister to play the game) they got him to a red heart (they are so good at the game) so they like toatally skipped over the summer part (i yelled at them for that but hey i pay them a quater). So then when the next year rolled around I saw him yelling at my kai! (who was at a black heart thanks to my HS's) So little did I know my sister had already married him and saved it on both files including the one in which I was married to Kai!

But your Farmerguy doesn't have an in-game reputation for being a self-confirmed ladies' man. Kai likes girls. He makes this well-known. I think Rick is just afraid that Popuri is more serious about Kai than Kai is about her, and is going to get her heart stomped on. From his perspective, Kai is leading Popuri on for his own fun.

And while I don't really think that Popuri was initially any more serious about Kai than he was about her, and Kai did develop deeper feelings for her, it would probably have been more helpful if he (or Popuri) had calmly explained this to Rick, instead of just being snarky and overly defensive.

Just my opinion. I think Rick is definitely the nicest of the bachelors.

I think Rick is snobby, unattractive, and annoying.

I think that he's sweet and caring. He might come across as annoying, but he's just doing his best to help; with his father gone at home, he feels overwhelmed with responsibility. Taking care of his sister (he feels that Kai is going to take advantage of Popuri and hurt her), plus the store, and he's struggling with a bit of bitterness towards his father for leaving (as shown in the "Rod's Letter" event). So in all, he's just under a lot of stress, but really kind and compassionate. Great choice to marry.

They like how ugly he is, cause it makes them feel better about themselfs. XD
