I think Rick is a neat guy. I married him in MFOMT, and he was a pretty good father/husband.

I don't like Rick much either. He seems mean how he always accused his dad for leaving his mom when his dad went because to help his mom.

When i look at rick i see the tide of darkness. Glassing shatering as people scream, crying for the loved ones. The people run down the streets, as buildings fall. Fire burns small children as they scream. The road fills with crimson blood. Sunddley the earth quiets, and all that is left is lifeless bodys.

The thread creator should just change this thread's title to "LET'S BASH RICK! YAY!" as the current one does not suit what is going on in here at all. Going "LOL I HAET RIcK" and then coming down on pretty much anyone who tries to answer the given question ("What do people see in Rick?") isn't exactly what I would call "useful posting."

It's OK if you don't like Rick; I personally hate Manna's guts, but I don't go around everywhere saying how horrible I think she is in every topic that she pops up in, which is something that I've really noticed that people do in regards to Rick. I mean, good lord. He's only a video game character.

Dude. I don't know you, Chikin, but I'm going to declare myself your honorary fangirl for the next ten minutes, dancing in giddy circles around you, waving my "HELL, YEAH!" pom-poms.

And to keep this post on topic, what do I see in Rick? Hmm...well, he's the only one of the bachelors who's smart enough to be, y'know, honest about how he feels about you. A little directness is nice in a guy.
What else? He's a perfect balance between fun and hard-working (unlike Dr. Work-is-My-Life who I still love devotedly, and "I-don't-like-having-customers" Kai).
Oh, yes; and I just like long-haired guys. And glasses. Glasses are sexy.

Hey, wait a second...don't a lot of people dislike Rick because he (reputedly) obsesses over his hatred for Kai? Why is that a reason to bash him, when they're doing the same thing?
