Either Marlin or Griffin, possibly Gustafa. I might try Carter, but I'm not sure about his personality. I don't really like Steiner's attitude.
As for Best Friends, Leia seems easiest to win over.
By the way, if you marry a Mineral Town boy, is the child design you get random?

You guys just bumped this again... oh well. On my Japanese girl version I shall marry Steiner on my first file, possibly both as I don't have a Japanese MFoMT or FoMT, and the ones I have found are way expensive for a game I won't really even play. If/when the English version comes out, I shall marry Steiner, then one of the MT boys on my second file.

yes you can play forever. Don't think you die. The years will just stop going forward after 200 or so I think. Like FoMT. Correct me if I'm wrong though
