I don't think the pairing is all that unusual. It makes sense really. They both live in the same place, work in the same place, and Muffy' s been wanting a trustowrthy nd dependable man in her life for a long time that would care for her. Griffin seems like the perfect candidate. Rock's too -much of a party-goer.

For some reason, there tend to be alot of big-age-difference couples in anime, manga, Japanese video games, etc. Ever heard of Card Captor Sakura? The main character's mom and dad were eleven years apart, her older brother went out with his student-teacher, and her classmate (age 9) had a crush on their teacher. So, really, the whole Muffy-Griffin thing doesn't surprise me much.

Besides, if they had a kid, they could name it Muffin! :)

Do you know the muffin man, the muffin man, the muffin man... :lala:

What's gross, the age-difference thing, or Muffin?

Bty, sorry about the random singing, just had to do it.

Most anime/manga aren't that dramatic... but CCS was made by CLAMP and CLAMP always has weird relationships in all of their series. It's one of their hallmarks.

Yuppers! I went to their focus panel at AX, but they actually didn't talk about it that much.

Also, how old is your character supposed to be?

^x^? :bunny:

Old enough for children, has responsibilities (BIG ones, look after the animals etc.), doesn't go to a school of any kind... I have no idea.

Perhaps 20?

So, if a person married Griffin, wouldn't that make it a 26 year gap?
If you married Flora, it would be a 14 year gap.
Marlin, 12 year gap.

Uh, why are we getting worked up over this again?

'x'? :bunny:

You people make me sad.
What would you think if I said that I have parents (which I do) who are married and are 15 years apart? It's a perfectly normal relationship. Yes, some may view it as "gross" and say that the older one in the relationship is "ugly." Yes, it may be a bit awkward relationship, but it is true love. Two people that do not care for each other's appearance. No, I'm not saying that we should all marry older/younger people, but people who do marry older/younger people understand what love is. Now a pedopholic (including a minor) relationships on the other hand are what I oppose.
Calling my parents and Muffy's and Griffin's relationship gross is immature. Grow up.
I was born because of a relationship like that. Yes, I am biased and I have the right to be biased.

I'm totally fine with the age difference, heh i kinda think it's funny the thought of some 15 year-old holding a baby and saying in a baby voice "We're gonna get married one day, yes we are" lmao, but i'm totally fine with you can't help who you like.

Honestly, I have nothing against it. I'm just here to fuel the fire... er... topic. Mainly cuz it's summer and i have nothing to do but honors homework, which I think blows.

Again, why are we getting worked up over the Muffin pairing?
