Jacaranda wrote:Heh. If you look on the first page, there's a doodle I did about that. The link to the bigger version is on the second page, I think.

As for what he says:

jewelry: (player name)-san. Arigatou. Teisetsu ni suru yo.
"(player name)-san. Thanks. (something about the action/item being important)."

100 point items: Fufuh. Arigatou.
"Heh. Thanks."

More later... looking up kanji is a pain in the butt.
"Taisetsu ni suru yo" means "I'll take good care of it", I believe.

Not sure, though. I'm still not that good with Japanese yet, though this game is helping. :D

I use JWPce to look up the kanji. It lets you search for kanji by radical, reading, and meaning.

Has anyone tested to see what the jewels from the mines are worth, affection wise? I would do it myself, but I still haven't gotten to the bottom of the first mine.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. I use Kiki's Kanji dictionary.

*edit*
I'll update his sayings when i get my DS back (left it at my cousin's house).

Guys. I did it.
After putting it off for over a week (distracted by the Acorn festival in AC:WW ^^''), I've finally married Steiner! :)
And then two days after the wedding, I had a Blizzard! w00t!
Heh. After redoing the wedding so many times because of weather and animal problems, I finally just decided to save on a sunny day-after-wedding. However, I forgot to check the weather channel before doing so. Huzzah!
Anyways, I can now tell people what he does during marriage: it will be posted on the front page.

And there WILL be Proposal and Wedding pictures eventually: I saved before the proposal event in slot 2, so I can redo it as many times as I like.

Yay! *throws rice*

By the way, I finally translated his saying for 300 point items. Sort of: Fufuh. Arigatou. Utsukushii ojousan.
"Heh. Thanks. [You are a] beautiful girl."

Kiki's kanji actually translated "ojousan" as daughter, but I thought girl or young woman fitted better. If I recall correctly, Kusanagi from X would always address Yuzuriha as this, perhaps making it closer to "miss," "young lady," or even "missy."

Heh. If he was saying "daughter", that would be creepy. But it's nice that he thinks we're pretty, even though he's a programmed game. XD

For the +500 items, he says "Kimi wa, nante subarashii josei da. Arigatou." ("What a magnificent woman you are. Thanks.")

Congrats on marrying him! I'm only ten sprites away from that myself. :D

Thanks for translating all this, liafox and Jacaranda! Just think, I spend all that time giving him stuff and couldn't understand what nice things he was saying (except for arigatou ^^'')
I'll add the things everyone translated to the front page. :)

Cool! I'll get to work on his -500 point items soon. Maybe the dreaded curry noodles while I'm at it.

Don't have much time at the moment, but I just wanted to say that I got the sixty sprites, triggered the proposal event, and I'm planning on trying to translate it.

Later!

Edit: ohmygod he's so cute. He calls you his angel!

Gosh, he does look like Ayame from Fruits Basket.

Heh, but I will marry this guy for sure if the girl version ever gets released in the US. I hope it does....
