(nearly) All of the cartridge production plants are in the US as well, so even if it's a canadian company that reprograms the game, it still has to be sent to the US to be mass produced. Hence why US stores always get them earlier then Canadian stores (they have to pass through extra inspections when they enter Canada)

Really? I have to wait longer since I live in Canada? That stinks. But maybe I'll get it the same time as the United States does since I live so close to the border...

I cant wait a whole, ummm... *counts* 13 whole more days for the game to come out, but I could use some time to babysit for some money just in case I want to get another game to pass by the time for these almost 2 weeks.

EVerytime I think about it it seems this year has gone by so fast. HARVEST MOON DS HAS CAME FASTER THAN I EXPECTED IT TO COME. I just live everyday one by one.

Edit 2: Mature also includes the meanings, experienced, and adult-like. I ask you, would an adult misspell words. Would someone experienced in life misspell words. I tell you, NO! A trait of being an adult would let you be responsible enough to at least check the dictionary.

(edit) Oh and natsume, it depends... Many times companies will plan ahead and begin shipment of games to canada sooner then in the states so they are released at the same time. The longest you'd have to wait is maybe a couple days, maybe longer depending on the stores. The best bet is to simply call a local store and ask when they plan on having theirs in.

Actually most "cartridge based" production is done in Japan and then shipped out. I think most of the delay to Canada is due to the market size and the regulation of bilingual packaging. Just my 2 cents.

Hontou? I was sure Nintendo had cartridge production plants in the US, which is why carts are so cheap compared to Japan. If they weren't you'd expect the games to be on par or more expensive then Japan since besides production costs of the cart you'd have to add in shipping which would have to be a fairly pretty penny.

Thank you for not making me an abhorrence to yourself. Sometimes, I act too serious, and other times, I'm not serious enough. I used a dictionary for every word that might not fit the category "Normal". I used Encarta for my dictionary. All it says under its definition for idiot is:

I could be referring to either term. Although, you were referring to the other term. The previous entry counteracted my previous assessment in some ways. Good one! Anyways, when you say that I'm a silly little boy, you are feeding my hunger for attention. (Sorry). Also, the argument first started out with how immaturity was linked to bad spelling, not just maturity in itself. Although, it might be considered more of a debate than an argument. I also spend at least ten minutes checking over every post I ever input into this site to make sure it is perfect.

On-topic: Even if the companies are producing the game cartridges in the States, and if they ship all cartridges at the same time, wouldn't the people in Canada recieve them on the same date as in the US. Canada's not that far away from the States.

It's not an argument. It's moree of a debate that still includes the topic somehow. It's jsut a debate between two people who won't ever meet each other who consider themsleves friends. (I think).
