Really? I have to wait longer since I live in Canada? That stinks.Myah-san wrote: Natsume and many other companies are based in the states. That's where the translation work is done. Countdown to Harvest Moon.

*laughs* Oh my goddess... You are a silly little child if you believe that adults don't make spelling errors. This is a forum for fun, no one here has to be professional. If this were a business setting and she was writing up a report, what you say makes sense, but everyone here is not professional... If you don't understand the difference between a business and leisure atmosphere I'm afraid I feel a bit sorry for you ^_^Duck Socks wrote:Edit 2: Mature also includes the meanings, experienced, and adult-like. I ask you, would an adult misspell words. Would someone experienced in life misspell words. I tell you, NO! A trait of being an adult would let you be responsible enough to at least check the dictionary.
Oh, and Myah, I am eccentric though because I act away from the centre. I am one who is different.
Also, when you called me an idiot, you are talking about my intelligence. Someone who is an idiot is literally stupid. Am I stupid if I know the meanings of all those words and have a good argument at hand? Somebody who is insane is someone who is lacking reasonable thought. If one were to lack reasonable thought, they would be rather stupid would they not. So, if I am acting like an idiot, I am rather insane in a way.
You aren't eccentric if you acted off from center, because an act is just that. An act. I don't play into the childish view that if I act out and try to be different that I am somehow different. I let my true self shine and let that be my carrying beacon to differentiate myself from the masses of others.
Also, I suggest that for someone as "intelligent" as yourself to perhaps look up the meaning of words before talking to boldly and confidently.
You sir, fit the definition of the first space by far. If you wish to act smart, prepare to back yourself up. Do not come into my place of leisure, make a silly arguement over maturity (which in itself is very immature my dear dear duckling), and then try and back it up with logic that doesn't make sense.Dictionary.com Definition for idiot wrote:id‧i‧ot /ˈɪdiət/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[id-ee-uht] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation

1. an utterly foolish or senseless person.
2. Psychology. a person of the lowest order in a former classification of mental retardation, having a mental age of less than three years old and an intelligence quotient under 25.
And with that I bid you adeiu for you see my fair duck I take no enjoyment in this. I just dislike people who pretend they are better then others. Who knows you may be a genius with a far greater IQ then I, but you're still a mere human and not above the same humanity that was granted to all of us. You make mistakes just like anyone else, and chalking up mistakes to immaturity is by far the silliest thing I've ever heard ^_^ But don't worry. I still love you <3
(edit) Oh and natsume, it depends... Many times companies will plan ahead and begin shipment of games to canada sooner then in the states so they are released at the same time. The longest you'd have to wait is maybe a couple days, maybe longer depending on the stores. The best bet is to simply call a local store and ask when they plan on having theirs in.

Actually most "cartridge based" production is done in Japan and then shipped out. I think most of the delay to Canada is due to the market size and the regulation of bilingual packaging. Just my 2 cents.

Hontou? I was sure Nintendo had cartridge production plants in the US, which is why carts are so cheap compared to Japan. If they weren't you'd expect the games to be on par or more expensive then Japan since besides production costs of the cart you'd have to add in shipping which would have to be a fairly pretty penny.Serious Fun wrote:Myah-san wrote "Natsume and many other companies are based in the states. Thank you for not making me an abhorrence to yourself. Sometimes, I act too serious, and other times, I'm not serious enough. I used a dictionary for every word that might not fit the category "Normal". I used Encarta for my dictionary. All it says under its definition for idiot is:Myah-san wrote: *laughs* Oh my goddess... 1. a taboo term that deliberately insults somebody’s intelligence (taboo insult)
2. an offensive term in a now disused classification system for somebody with an IQ of about 25 or under and a mental age of less than three years.
I could be referring to either term. Although, you were referring to the other term. The previous entry counteracted my previous assessment in some ways. Good one! Anyways, when you say that I'm a silly little boy, you are feeding my hunger for attention. (Sorry). Also, the argument first started out with how immaturity was linked to bad spelling, not just maturity in itself. Although, it might be considered more of a debate than an argument. I also spend at least ten minutes checking over every post I ever input into this site to make sure it is perfect.
On-topic: Even if the companies are producing the game cartridges in the States, and if they ship all cartridges at the same time, wouldn't the people in Canada recieve them on the same date as in the US. Canada's not that far away from the States.
Congratulations, I believe that you have just won your case! Henceforth, maturity has nothing to do with spelling.
I grow up in a shallow life, all the grown-ups in my life spell everything correctly. I hardly get out of the house. If anybody noticed, I have been spelling argument wrong in my previous posts.
