I liked him better in 64 aswell. Maybe even would have married him in BTNFG if it was ever translated. Also, if the game didn't end.

BTN !=64, just so you know. The BTN Rick was a chicken farmer.

In HM 64, when I first started playing, I'm sad to say that I thought Rick was a girl. X3

...

...And yes, that was pretty much the first game I'd ever played that came from Japan. That, and I was still young enough when I got interested in it that I didn't know that guys were allowed to have long hair. .__O;;

I caught him in bed with Kappa. I was forced to dispose of his remains in the Goddess Spring per adúltery rituals.

I'm not "fangirl" about Rick.....but I dont hate him either. I can't really agree with you guys about how Rick is better in 64 because I didn't own HM64. Was he really an inventor?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he was. Mostly because of the teleporter that he brings to your house later in the game to see if it works, but then it fails miserably, causing him to be depressed for a little bit...but I'm not entirely sure if that's exactly the way it went, I haven't played the game since...oh, I don't know...October 2004?

I'm aware of that NOW, but when I first got into Harvest Moon, I was like, 10 or 11 years old and didn't know that. I mean, the only things that I'd ever seen at that age in anime were My Neighbor Totoro, a little bit of Sailor Moon, and Cardcaptors...before Yue came in. >___.;;
