So the steps to get married are as follows...
Earn 200,000G and 2000 wood to purchase the house upgrade.
Purchase a kitchen and double bed from Ivan
Get the girl you want to 10 hearts and 10 friendship points.
Besides that, every girl has their own specific thing required for marriage... A list of those figured out so far (translated from a japanese website by Cher, all credit goes to her as I'm just quoting her from a Gamefaqs post)
To be a bit more in depth about the White stone from the toros caves, You have to search the large boulders. One of them will contain the white stone (I think it varies, not positive)Cherubae wrote:They've got wedding dress pictures now too.

You need the "marriage stone" + ...
Mist: The table at the top says the Daana cave has to be cleared, but the bottom details just say to have all soil on your field tilled.
Tabetha: 50 or more monsters aquired, have all monster barns built, and all monsters at 50 or more friend level.
Sharon: Gurimora Sou (scale?) Sword, made by Leo from the scale off the Gigant Mountain boss.
Rosette: White Stone from the Toros Cave when it's snowing.
Mei: 70+ "tokimekitai" (a fish you can catch in the BlueMist Cave's boss room, or trade a tokimekitai via wifi until it's level 70 or more.)
Lapis: Lapis Rosary
The rest of them don't have anything listed yet. That's all I can read.
It's not a Lapis Rosary needed for Lapis, but a Lapislazure stone that you get from Cecilia after you rescue her from the third (or was it fourth?) cave. After you rescue her, go into the library during the mornings (between 6-9am) and talk to her and she'll give you the stone.
To propose you need only give the special item they require to them and then choose the top option, if they don't have a specific item requirement, when you talk to them you should get an option (though I never got an option for Mist for some reason after I beat the Dana mine). After a bit of small chatter the screen goes black and you instantly appear in the next day at noon for your wedding. Father White proceeds over the marriage and you say your normal vows. No wedding kiss... but I think that's a limitation of the 3d models they used as they do face each other really closely, then stand closer then most models normally do. You're then approached by everyone that you are friends with (8+ friends points) and they will offer their congratulations to you.
Before I married Rosetta for sure, I married Lapis then restarted as I didn't want to marry her, just wanted to see what the wedding was like ^_^ The major difference between the two weddings was that Rude who was happy at the Lapis wedding was crying at me and Rosetta's wedding, I'm pretty sure this is because he was my rival for Rosetta (he hung around her at her father's store quite often). He definitely mentions something about it being cruel that I'm marrying her. Then Rosetta calls him a baka, though I think it's ment to be in a teasing/cheering up way. It's really kind of cute. Anyways, I find it interesting that the rivals (if there is one) comment on the wedding like that.
Much like other harvest moon games, after the wedding is over you can talk to your wife and you get a list of options of what she'll call you... Unlock most of them though you don't also get an option to add a custom name she can call you. You have 4 choices. The choices seem to differ depending on who you propose to... I forgot to write down the choices for Lapis, but I know they were different from Rosetta, below are Rosetta's
Koji (Obviously whatever your name is)
あなた (translates more or less to Darling)
ダーりん (katakana for Darling ((pronounced Dah-reen)))
Koji* (Evil kanji it's too smooshed for me to see)
You then ask her what she wants you to call her. Rosetta told me to just call her Rosetta (with no san/chan which shows a very close connection with the person)
While I just got married to rosetta so I'm not sure what all she does during the day, I can confirm that each and every day, she has made me breakfast. I believe I noticed the same thing with Lapis, but I don't remeber (I got some item from talking with her but I don't remember if it was food). ^_^ It's a nice touch and means less cooking for yourself. Though it seems her favorite dish to make is baked corn... Been getting that a lot *laughs*
