Basically, all I meant was that it seems like everyone who can see that Nami isn't necessarily a lesbian just because she dresses boyishly, is unable to see that Muffy isn't necessarily a conceited whore just because she's pretty and feminine and men are attracted to her.

And everyone who can see that Muffy isn't necessarily a conceited whore just because she's pretty and feminine, is unable to see that Nami isn't necessarily a lesbian just because she dresses boyishly. And, um, Popuri is apparently attracted to her.

Both unfair assumptions, based totally on appearance. They certainly didn't come from anything in the game, unless I've somehow missed all these Muffy-is-a-whore and Nami-is-a-lesbian related scenes by talking to them and giving them gifts everyday, and reading up on all the scenes on the site here. And in my experience, people who base things totally on appearance are pretty conceited themselves.

And I know that a thread like this is just asking for petty character-bashing based on traits the girls didn't actually have, and I shouldn't read it if it annoys me so much. What can I say? It's like when you have a cavity, and something just compells you to keep sucking air through it, just to see if it'll still hurt. Or the way you have to keep swallowing when you have a wickedly sore throat, even though you know it's asking for pain. Or poking an open wound, just to see what'll happen.

Touche. You're right. I was a little too harsh on muffy. I didn't mean that she was conceited, just that she likes to look good. That's not a bad thing.

What was the word for people who judge entirely on appearance?

Eheh...and sorry for the mini-explosion. ^^;; I just love Muffy to pieces; she's such a giggly, snuggly sweetie, and she has such awful luck with men. And even though it's kind of her fault because she goes consistently after dishonest jerks, her loneliness and misery just really struck something with me. Not to mention, she's (well, was) the most widely bashed of the Valley-girls, and I never really thought she deserved it.

I love Nami too, especially after her "how dare you interrupt my dinner" roaring at Farmguy. So...cute...and such a fun contrast with being so quiet and contemplative the rest of the time. :D

And even if I don't find Celia too interesting, there's no denying that she's adorable. She bears the strangest resemblance to Mutsumi Otohime from Love Hina, which led to giving her most of my watermelons in AWL and AnWL. ^^;;

(And Flora has that come-hither blushie look at red heart. *grin* And Lumina's just a sweetie. *floatinghearts*)

How can Nami be a lesbian if she'll marry you? It doesn't make sense! >.>
She does look kinda like a guy, I don't like girls with short hair.

The people I wouldnt marry are the MT girls(waste of time), Leia(she's a mermaid for « Harvest Goddess »'s sake, it's too creepy to even think how the baby would be concieved, she's an evil sea creature ready to eat you up while you're asleep!), Nami(don't like her hair, shallow I know.) and the Harvest Godess(waste of time.).

The fact people bash people like Nami, Muffy, and Flora because they're ugly or accusing Nami of being a tomboy and Muffy a whore makes me a sad~ guy. :( Especially when all of them are so sweet in their own little ways. (Heart events, yay~ <3)

I don't get Flora-bashing. Bashing a girl for having glasses? How many of you know why people actually wear glasses?
1) To look nerdy
x) To look good/intelligent
2) To see their surroundings?

If you picked 1 or x you fail miserably. Without my glasses, I'd be in a constant state of a horrible headache and the world would be nicely blurred, so that I wouldn't even reconize my friends, if they were two feet away from me.

And as Flora is an archaeologist, it's only natural for her to wear glasses. She spends a lot of her time in a cave without much light, and her job is to dig up small items. To know an old statue from an ordinary rock you have to have a good eyesight, and having glasses helps that even though one didn't need glasses all the time.

No offence but people who are bashing Flora only because she wears glasses are idiots. She looks really pretty in glasses and why do you ever care about her glasses anyway? Look at her hair, her big eyes, her lovely smile and at personality. I dislike people who are like "OMG! SHE WERS GLASSES!!1 FOUR EYES!!11!! OMG!! SHE'S SU UGLI BIKOZ GLASSES!!!111!!!" Are glasses so important? Glasses don't say who you are and what personality you have. I know, some 12 years old kids still think if someone wears glasses, automaticly is a nerdy, ugly, boring geek. Please, don't be stupid. Flora is great!

Saying that "I hate blondes" is personal preference is kind of like saying "I hate [insert nationality]" is personal preference. It's all stuff someone can't help.

Muffy and Flora could dye their hair, but that still comes with a stigma of shallowness and stupidity. HMMM...

Making fun of people for wearing glasses is funny. Without my glasses, I wouldn't be able to read the board in class when we're correcting homework, 'specially when it's so damn tiny. x_X

I think I look better with them anyway.

Without little light, the site must be very dark and no glasses = bumping into walls.

I feel the same way. People shouldn't judge her because of that. I wear glasses sometimes also.^^
If it weren't for my glasses, I wouldn't be able to read words at a distance. Which will make me fail in school.
It's not that I don't like Flora, but I like the other girls better than her. She is still very nice and pretty, though.

Sadly, also Rick, Mary and that Gina girl from MM get their share of bashing for "being nerdy", i.e. for having glasses. =__= Fangirl logic: We four-eyed people just have *so* pretty eyes that we'll frame them!!1

I wouldn't marry Muffy. She's sweet, nice, kind, upbeat and pretty, but I wouldn't take her from Griffin. Griffin+Muffy = Love, happiness, sparkly bunnies, flowers and smiley faces!
