Oh, I did that already. The problem's already solved.

I'm just wondering about it, though. Why would something like that happen? So, I think it's a glitch.

it registers how many spots are available in TOTAL of all your coops so if you have say 4 coops and

1 has 4

2 has 4

3 has 4

4 has 2

you can put 2 eggs in any two coops and when they hatch transfer them to coop #4

The chick didn't transfer to another coop at all! It hatched in the FULL COOP! It STAYED in the full coop until I moved it!

It shouldn't hatch in an already-full coop. It didn't move to the second one, okay? So, I had five chickens in my Bird Shed, which has a maximum of four total spaces for animals. Five isn't an option, but apparently something happened.

by transfer i ment manually pick up the chick and move it to the coop with 3 chickens

Well, I'm just trying to get my point across. My point is:

This isn't something natural. Normally, when you try to put an egg in an already-full Bird Shed's Incubator, it says that you can't. The Incubator in the full Shed, however, let me put an egg in. So, five Chickens were in my already-full Bird Shed..

I think it's a bug of some sort.

no its not a bug just like i said before as long as you have spaces free in other coops you can use any incubator box you want

Okay then..

I must've REALLY misunderstood what you typed. That makes some sense, though..

Still think they should've kept it to the simple 'Egg hatches in available coop' though. <.<

I'd rather smack my friends in the face then do that. Which would pretty much vae the same effect.

Unfortunately, the next day is the 1st of Spring my game. =_=

Just so you know, the same thing happened to me.

All I had to do was move them (but I was kind of nervous too. I HATE these glitches), like Owen said. Nothing bad happened, I promise :)

Urgh, lemme take a whack at this... okay, you have two coops, for a maximum total of eight chickens. If you then had five and three after the chick in the full coop hatched, you still have a total of eight. Because you now have eight, you can't put an egg in any incubator, even if it's in the coop with three chickens because regardless of where it is; you can't have nine chickens with two coops. Chances are that you could shove all eight chickens into one coop too. It's not so much a bug as it is flawed mechanics.

i think where the problem lies is we are all use to having one coop and each animal has her own feed box. in this one your animals have no space to call their own and so u have to decide for them. you have the freedom of moving your cows and chickens around as you please.

(however....

if you have one full coop and one that is short by one. and you tryed to put an egg in the inqubater(sp?) of the coop that is short by one chicken and it will not let you for some odd reson, and there is no egg in the full coop, then that glitchie. but if you put an egg in a full coop before trying on the non full coop then that was your bad.)

when you put all your chikens outside they will get mixed up and so it will not matter what coop you put them in. as long as you have enuff feed boxes to feed the amount of chickens you have in your coop.

for example. if you keep five chickens in a cook fit for four. one will not beable to eat. so when it comes down to it, it dont matter where your chicken is as long as you keep it in a place where it can eat. put it in the barn if you like, but it will still need to eat. no it will not eat out of a cows/sheeps bin, but hey if putting you chinkens in there makes you happy do so.

the main point is you can get your second coop build put eggs in both coop A and B and get two chicks at the same time even if coop A is filled up already. this way you get to make more chickens faster. just dont forget to move them to the coop with room for the chickens.

so the main thing is...

did u not try and put the egg in the "non full coop" first and it would not let you.

A) yes, that why i had to put it in the full coop.

B) no, i was just trying to make it hold an egg and not hatch.

if your answer is (A) then its a glitch.

if your answer is (B) then by placing an egg in ANY incubator, you rached your totoal amount of space used and therefore can not place any more eggs in the incubator, coop full or not.

hope this helps everyone.

Actually, I just tried the full Coop first. O_o It's not a glitch, and it's already been solved, so.. Please don't rewrite what Owen explained, basically.

SUPER ANIMAL FARM!

Build 8 random barns around your property and when bedtime comes, just push them in the closest barn.

Touche.
