Is it me, or can nobody concentrate on HM:FoMT with TV on?

I cannot watch the TV and do something else at the same time. I always get distracted. On commerical breaks, I often mute the sound and do whatever else I was trying to do, but I still sometimes get distracted while constantly checking to see if the shows are back on. I can multi-task while listening to music, like Terra...
