Ok, that's that, then. His name's Tim in this version.

No it is not. Ellen is talking about Stu's puppy. Making sandwiches for dogs is not crazy. If Tim were the Doc's name in BTN, it would be mentioned somewhere else.

If that's the case, then how do we know the names of the lesser characters that didn't appear in (M)FoMT such as "the guy who has a name, but I can't remember it, though I'm sure he has one, but anyway, he's the dude who gives you the fishing pole in BTN"?

That character had a name, his name was Greg, and it is mentioned in the Mineral Town games too. Along with Louis the bug-a-holic.

I thought that Greg was the fisherman?

I like saying Tim, however, after they said his name was Trent in HM:DS I call him Doctor Trent now and nobody will ever make meh change.

You know, you can always go with "Trent is his LAST name!" and call him Dr. Timothy Trent. Does that not sound officialish?

No, his name is not Tim in this game, and his name is not Trent in this game.

Not officialness.

Dear « Harvest Goddess », how did this thread last so long?

It's OBVIOUSLY Geraldo. Lil is an accepted authority on this game.

You might as well, since you have to use this game, or the boy version, for Doctor Trent to come over to HM: DS.

Don't tell me that the people in the two different towns had grandkids that looked just like them, and named them the same thing, and then some of those grandkids had kids who looked like THEIR grandparents, and named THEM the same thing too.

You confuse me.
And yes, I look just like my great grandma when she was young, and I have her name as my middle name...and Lilangel said decades, meaning 100 years from then...
I look just like my grandmother at 14.
so it's possible.
Actually, it's not possible.
You don't look exactly like her.
You don't wear the same freaking clothes as her, you don't have the same exact face as her, you don't have the same eyes, you don't have the same freaking hairstyle, and you don't have the same personality. You don't have the same first name, either.

It's not possible. It's the exact same people, it's just a stupid glitch, in my opinion. D;
What's weird is that, it takes place decades after AWL & MFoMT, and yet everyone is still the same.

« What The Eggplant »? It's just a GAME. Not meaning it's real life. A damn game.

Why thank you loyal minion~

And to those who shake their head at the thread, I say that it is better to have this discussion sealed in one place, rather than it popping up periodically in several threads.

You use MFoMT or FoMT, for Doctor Trent to come over to HM: DS, soooo, wouldn't make since that his name is Doctor Trent since he can only come if you link one of the games with HM: DS.

Now, sit down and re-read this post until you understand what I'm saying.

Plus, Tim or Trent sounds more like him than Geraldo. Where the heck did ya come up with that name anyway?
