My brother had a copy of one of the Old Gameboy versions of HM.. And one night I stole his gameboy and the game and played for three hours not knowing how to do anything. The next day my brother found out I played his game, so he deleted my pokemon file to play my game. That was like 4 years ago. FOMT is my first real HM game but I have played all of them except STH.

I got the original Harvest Moon for Gameboy after reading about it in Nintendo Power. I was disappointed in it, but later found out about HM64 (also from Nintendo Power), and my Harvest Moon addiction began. ;)

I saw an article in a magazine on HM2 for Gameboy. It said the game was 'out now' but I couldn't actually get hold of it until the next year, in August! I bought it from a shop (Can't remember which one).

My first exposure to the HM series was HM for GBC. I remember watching my friend play it after school as we waited for our rides to pick us up. I later told my mom that I wanted Harvest Moon for x-mas and she was all "Oh, well you might change your mind when christmas comes around."

I can't remember if I actually got it for Christmas or if I went out and bought it with my own hard earned money :coughcough:birthdaymoney:coughcough:

Actually, I think I went out and bought it cuz I remember I got HM64 for x-mas. ^_^ I would play it for days on end. I don't think any of the HM games can overcome HM64 (then again, there are still quite a few HM games I haven't played yet.)
