It's not more expensive. It's the same. It's just that our currency is worth less than American. So we have to put more of it to make the same price.LiptonGirl wrote:Derek lives in Canada. Anyway, congrats on getting a DS Lite. I'm hoping to get a black one for my birthday.
Congrats on the DS lite
I love my big old fat DS <3

I started with an original Nintendo DS, then gave my buddy my original Nintendo DS, and preordered my Polar White Nintendo DS Lite and got it on Launch Day... then traded my Polar White Nintendo DS Lite in for a Nintendo DS Lite Onyx Black, now I'm waiting for the Light Blue Nintendo DS Lites to come out in the US and I'll trade in my Onyx Black one for the Light Blue one!!!
I want that one too
I have a light blue one. =] They're pretty much the best ones.
Just to make an additional point, currency conversion is not always accurate. Ones you see online are generally very up to date (some as much as the current value the last 24 hours, to the current value down to the last 5 minutes). Stores, in general, don't fluctuate their own prices to reflect the current value of their currency on a day to day basis so there will always be some discrepency in prices between different countries.DerekJ wrote:149.99 Canada Dollars = 128.104 United States DollarsLiptonGirl wrote:Canadian stuff is always more expensive D:

That said, technology is generally a little cheaper in Canada, but fast food is a bit more expensive, so it balances out.
