If you're raising chickens, then you're all set. This is my method.
Get the recipe for Boiled Egg (ゆで卵) or Spa Boiled Egg (温泉卵). Either is fine, as both recover 20 Stamina. If you want to reach Floor 255 without doing too much digging (not much more than 300,000G worth), then 200 Boiled Eggs should be enough, I recommend 300 just to be safe. But going for Floor 25, 100 Boiled Eggs will let you make the trip well more than four times. (I recommend going to Floor 50 as well, to mine for the ore to make Accessories.)
In the mine, save on the first floor. Run around until you fall into a hole. If you take a bad fall and end up back home, load.
When you fall to a lower floor, eat a Boiled Egg as needed.
Save after each fall, or at least after each "good" fall (more than one or two holes), because you never know when the next fall willbe your last.
If you're above Floor 25, be sure to save, because you might fall to floor Floor 26. If this happens, load again.
If you really want to get the most ore from Floor 25 in one trip, save before and after each rock you smash with the hammer. If there's nothing, or a Junk Ore, load and try again. However, saving takes a while...
Happy mining!

Well, the 25th floor isnt too bad, as stated, use eggs to cook
I think the first time i went down to the 25th floor, took me around 30~40 of Egg+Shiitake food + 30 of the 4 spring herbs , but i didnt s/l
After you get the cheese maker... you can make quite a bit of money, so i think just wait it out and try and get alot of green wonderstones~ Right now, i got 2, and my hoe only uses 1 stamina per swing~ 1 more and i can swing it forever ~
Oh yea, recently ventured down to the 25th floor again, this time with the above hoe, i think i only ate 10 Egg+Shiitake thing ~ again no s/l

Here's a photo with both stones:

The first one looks like a moonstone in HMDS, but the description is different.
The second one (the ball) has the description of the HMDS-moonstone, but it looks different.
What are the 2 stones?
(EDIT: The stones looks a little bit blue, but they are white. I couldn't make a better picture)

The first translates as "hotaru ishi". Which literally translates as "firefly stone" but I think its actually fluorite.

The second is a moonstone how its always looked in MM but I dont know about hmds.
BAH SORRY. I made many edits ;_; I said silly things XP
