I can see that happening, yes. He does look a bit like that.
When I go back home, I will print a piece of paper with IHM<3angel's name, and tape it on my punching bag at the gym *manic laughter* I'm not fond of the name Tim, even if some rabid fangirls weren't insisting that it is his REAL name.

Gerald sounds... even stupider than Geraldo. And Geraldo was pretty stupid... to some people!
Myself included. I'm pretty sure even the Geraldo fangirls hate Gerald.
Oh, and you had such horrible grammer, I had to fix it.
And besides, Ricardo is smexy. Plus, it's fair-likely Italian, as Jobs said. Doesn't Doctor look Italian to you?
.........................
Okay, a Northern Italian. They're a bit more blonde-haired, blue eyed.
..........................
Yeah, I know he isn't blonde. So?

Oh, yeah? Well, you and Minime are negatively portrayed in that ripoff of "Ushi No Tane Adventure" I made and am still working on trying to get on the internet! Um...
*hides*
Now that I think, he does kinda look like a Gregory... But I like Tim more.

Dude, what the cluck is with this place? I've never seen anyone claim that his name was DEFINITELY Tim anywhere else. Even the people I know who think it was meant to be his name; they don't throw hissy-fits at people who use something different. Unless those people are claiming that
their choice is canon.
Well, okay, there were some folks on Godawful Fanfiction who were ranting on the "canonness" of Tim, but they also claimed that everyone who writes and reads (het) romance fanfiction is a moron by definition. And their primary source of amusement
is to hunt down "badfic" to rip apart and get indignant over. So it's safer to just ignore them.
I guess it's one of those cases that the sentiment of "Stop agreeing with me! You're making my side look bad!" was invented for.
I like Tim. I don't think it's 'canon,' and I don't think it's
not canon. I've never seen the scene where it's used, and I'm not taking anyone's word as law until I see it. But I like Tim. And I like the idea of Stu naming his puppy after his brother in law. <3
But dear GAWD; getting on people's case about it is just...sad.
It's almost as sad as shouting at someone for "mischaracterizing" Rick because you've OMG DARED to portray him as a hard-working sweetie who values his family and genuinely cares about those around him.
Almost; I don't think anything quite reaches THAT level of sad. O.o

If we called him Emily, his nickname could be Emo.

1. Tim: I don't know, I think it's okay. I don't mind it, and I was misinformed that there was an event in MFOMT that definetely said his name was Tim, so I kinda got used to it.
2. Alexander/Alex: Jeebus, that's my Dad's name! *creeped out* that..would be strange. OK in MM, because it's actually stated, but if I have any say in the matter, no.
3.Gregory: seems pretty apropos, and suits him. this goes with Tim--it's a name I can just accept.
4. Ricardo/Xander/whateverthehecktherestwere: No. that's just...no. doesn't fit. has me thinking of Indiana Jones type adventures, or really just the Great Adventurer! from some distant country. but not the doctor.

Stop with the personal insults, or I'll lock this.
And IHM<3angel, my daughter has done nothing to you, keep her out of this if you want some sort of revenge on me. You need to learn to take things with a grain of salt, and learn to distinguish between a jokes and serious things. This is supposed to be entertainment.
And the fact is, that Tim is no more correct, than Geraldo or Ricardo. No name, besides "the Doctor" has been confirmed. « Harvest Goddess », I am such a broken record...

I don't believe it takes place 100 years in the future because everyone is the same same name same age. maybe our awl counterpart died young and i call him dr trent because well in hm ds his name is dr trent and he looks the same and he hangs with elli so there. i have no idea what geraldo is about though.

Ever heard of naming your kid after your grandparents/ancestors?
And besides, even if HMDS didn't take place 100 years later, there is still the issue of the game being made after M/FOMT.

I've called Doctor: Tim, since I read it in a MFoMT guide last year.
