anyone's file get erased?

that happened to me in mm. my moms file got saved over mine. i started over in a week. i would have started sooner but my boyfriend who has been my boy friend for 11 years kissed another girl so i cried lots.

Soo, you started dating when you were playing in the playpen together, learning to walk?

I've never accidentally saved over my file, because I don't play around with that stuff and start new files just for fun.

Actually, once in my game the first save slot got erased. I might have been because I turned off the GBA too fast after saving.

Luckily, I had a backup save in slot 2. Lost about 20 days of steady work however.

Nope. I played for 5 minutes, saved, turned it off. Turned it back on 10 minutes later, I couldn't continue. It just said "Start" on the title screen. One of the worst days in my videogame history. Happend to a couple people here

Mine was worse--played for a year (or like 10 months-ish), turned it on...

This happened to me. Did you have HM: DS pluged in your DS? Was it IN your DS? I guess it happened because they linked(every time you turn it on). I hoped that helped.
