first chapter's like a quarter of the way done. my history class at the community college i go to is DEAD DULL and its mostly stuff i learned in 4th grade history so i usually write fics or do homework there.

Do you have any good ways to stave off writers block? And to help from feeling that everything you write is worse than everyone elses? (That last part probably stemed from my brother laughing at my writing when I was little...)

i figured we should pm the conversation since i was starting to get emails about me posting too much. and we're kinda turning the thread into a chat room.
but anyway, to stave off writer's block? do what your teachers told you to do in elementary. PRE-WRITE. you gotta have the story planned out from beginning to end. doesn't have to be written on paper, but that makes things easier. you have to know how the story will flow coz when you just try to make it up as you go along with a vague starting idea, you're more likely to get writer's block in the middle.
and you're definitely gonna have times when you think your writing is worse than everyone else's. every writer feels like that regardless of how good their fics are or how many reviews they get. but that feeling can be good because it helps you to improve your writing.

i go with trent/alex. i used to think his name was tim, but i blame gamefaqs for that. one of their walkthroughs said his name was tim and he was friends with harris as a kid. i have no idea how much of that is true, but i've started to learn that gamefaqs contains bunch of lies...
Ok, my friend, she was all like, "OK, OK!!! He's a VIDEO GAME CHARACTER!!!" And I mumbled under my breath, "Yeah, someday I'll take over the world and protest people who say that..." Then I guess she heard me and said, "OK, FINE! He's a real person!!!"
And I was all like, what the crud? That was the most awkwardest moment of my school life.... o______O
