No, it wouldn't. Even if you have a certificate to practice medicine, there's still a whole boatload of information to learn.

I would play as karen if I HAD to be another character cause if I got drunk and I married the doctor I would know that if anything happened to me if I was drunk I could come home get healed and have a nice long night of you know what....

my mom's a nurse. and she still has to go through this medical textbook every year full of names of medicines i can't even pronounce. and you have to renew your license and get retested every now and then to make sure you're up to date with your skills.

Think of what Doctor and Elli's kid would be like.

I image him/her to be interested in a career in health work. Also kind of lonely because both his parents work full time.

that was the way things were with me and my brother. my mom worked full time as a nurse in the medical field and our dad wanted us both to be doctors. for the longest time, i wanted to pediatrician (i'm not sure anymore though). our dad worked full time as well, though not in the medical field. so me and my brother were left to ourselves most of the time and we're kinda bitter about not having our parents around during our childhood, but i guess we just understand why they did things that way now.

as you can see, i can really relate to dr. trent ^^ and elli.

peach_zelda, I can't tell you how many times I've wished HM was real, or that I could live there. If it were real, I think you'd probably be Elli.


Have you ever noticed that there are only two people who are ill: Lillia and Ellen. Lillia has some sort of rare disease, and Ellen is crippled.

No one has any of the common ailments. With the exception of one of Elli's rival heart events, where she comes down with a cold.

it means that kappa is a creature that sucks people's guts out of their anuses. it was a play on words with that and the popular slang phrase. o_o;
