Getting a girlfriend!

Hi everyone,

Please help - i want to start dating gettin a bit lonely on my farm with just the animals for company but on ur - fantastic i must say - website it states :-

"plug in your copy of friends of mineral town or more friends of mineral town"

What does that mean?

Alright, first of all, you do not need a copy of FoMT or MFoMT to get a girlfriend/married - there are five normal bachelorettes and four special ones living in the valley already.

But by "plugging in the game", all it means is taking a copy of FoMT or MFoMT and inserting it into the GBA slot in your DS. Your HMDS will automatically register the game and the mineral town bachelors and bachelorettes will come visit. You can marry those girls, but the game will end.

It also takes about 4 or 5 yrs to marry them. Except Ann, I think it can take about 3 yrs.

You don't need to insert a copy of FoMT and MFoMT to ger married....

You plug in the game by inserting the FoMT and MFoMT cartridge in the GBA slot of the DS...

Sadly, this does not work in the EU version.

Meaning that you can't see any of the girls/guys from Mineral Town? Or do they come regardless of whether or not you insert [M]FoMT? (I'm not all that familar with the EU version.)

I don't believe that they come over at all, save for Gotz and Kai who come regardless if you connect or not. I know, it stinks!
