So today's update. Sakurai's really outdone himself with the Smash-specific enemies, huh? Some of them seem Kirby-esque (the Roader looks like a Wheelie, for example), but it's all good.

R.O.B. Squad looks pretty kickass.

There's little doubt he'll be in, though. Not counting the crazed anti-Sonic fanboys on the Brawl board that make no sense whatsoever, it's really all down to Sega, and it'd be stupid to pass this up, especially with M&SatO.

Snake is confirmed to be an unlockable, and they might not put up unlockables until after the game's been released, though...

Solid Snake is probably, out of the all the updates and news, the one that has made the the angriest. Smash Bros. is supposed to be about Nintendo characters battling it out. I know Snake was on a Nintendo console, but is no longer. Now, I really wouldn't have a problem with Snake, but he seems to be the exact opposite of Nintendo. Correct me if I am wrong, but Nintendo has never published an M rated game. Sonic, would actually be better (not that I'm a crazed Sonic fanboy) because he actually seems almost like a Nintendo character and could fit in rather well.

I'll end up playing as Snake one time or another, I'll probably get used to him and not hate him, but....yeah.

Now as for the updates.

Subspace enemies? Okay cool, original Smash Bros. characters that may appear elsewhere. However, maybe it's just me, and it probably is, but I would've just liked one big update about the Adventure mode and not go into huge detail about every specific part of the storyline and let us get through it on Dec 3.

As for Piplup...umm...yay?
Nothing really excting. I like Piplup, but it wasn't a WOW update.

To you guys, I probably seem like someone who hates all the updates except the character ones, I apoligize for that, but those really are the only ones that make me sit in front of the computer, stare at the update, and just smile. I want the updates to do that. So far Ike, Zelda, Wi-Fi, and Pokemon Trainer have had me do that. I'm really anticipating a new Metroid character or an Animal Crossing character. We haven't had a stage update in a while. That would also be nice.

Well that's it for this very long post, that no one wants to read, but I typed it anyway.

Can't wait to start having Wi-Fi matches on this board starting Dec 3.

For an unlockable, they're making a pretty big deal about it from those screenshots you just posted.

man i wanted to be the first to type on an already existant page but had nothing on it. instead i got the bottom of the page. I did accidentally d.p, but i figured thats just cheap and lame

Anywho. pretty kick-« Mr.Gourmet's hat » updatie obviously. I agree with gourmet to an extent. He does seem "out of place" in this game. And even though i probably wont play as him, it doesnt bother me all that much that he'll be there.

either way, today had a « Puppy Doodoo »-load of good and exciting updates.
