i've acually done that. in hmds, i married celia and lumina for their child. but then, i put them aside and went after the people i like (keira and flora)

It's what I've been doing. I'm marrying a girl in the game based on her child. I feel a bit bad about it though. I don't really like the children that Pat, Anise, Mai, and Roomi have so I'm focusing on the other girls. I'll either marry Rina(For her son or daughter and she's pretty), Kotomi(For her daughter), or Kathy(For her son). Well, Anise and Mai are off the market now for me because they're both married in my file.

Erm...I'd hate to spoil your bubble, but...
Rina and Mai have the same looking kids and Kotomi and Anise have the same looking kids. If you're confused, click on the links in Taiyaki's first post on page 18.

Yeah, that anonymous poster was me. I wasn't logged in. Also I've been lookin at the chart of which girls have which kid a lot lately. I've been trying to decide who I should marry and I do realize that some of the girls share children but Anise and Mai don't really matter to me because in my file on the Japanese version they both married their rivals already. Plus I didn't like how they looked. Also can someone else with the game tell me how to get Seraph to upgrade my rucksack? I need more space to hold items.

And the children actually look good. I mean, they don't all look the same with different colored clothing and hair. And you can have a boy or girl!? Talk about awesome!!

This is definately going to be my most favorite Harvest Moon game. :D

Costamize your cloths, kid, home. You can makeout with your wife/hubbie, a formal wedding ect ect... this game sounds like a winner to me...

You don't "make out " with your wife. and I'm getting a Wii in 3 days.
You don't customize your kid until you play as him/her. What a about Formal wedding? Your "New Spouse" Will wear different things If it's a different person each time. The main character wears the same thing each time.

I don't know why people are so obsessed with this game but I just like Farming. But the Characters look nice too. And looking after a kid. Sounds nice to me. Also sounds like Hard work. I would get in japanese because I am but I moved to America. I don't like America. But I do Like Harvest Moon!
